Paul Addis (B. Duke) is a quantum singularity with an incurable word virus affliction. Hopelessly addicted to a furious love for vibrant culture, he treasures those with a passion for the irreverent and trenchant--wherever they may be. He’s often seen cruising at ridiculous speeds on his motorcycle, kicking ass on pool tables everywhere, whipping up breakfast for 15 after a long night on acid, or just relaxing (yes, it does happen) with close friends.

Gonzo, A Brutal Chrysalis was B.D.'s first script and major performance. Both required months of research and preparation, as well as revision and rehearsal. For Duke Productions’ next presentation, Homefront, B.D. will be handling the writing duties and leaving the acting to others. While Gonzo and Homefront are intense dramatic trips through social issues and personal suffering, B.D. aspires to make his third script a comedic satire.

B.D. cut his writing and performance teeth by starting in on the Bay Area spoken word scene in 1999. By 2003, he was doing solo shows and regular gigs throughout the Bay Area. His previous stage work includes Dr. Strangelove, or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb and Night of the Living Dead.

He currently resides in San Francisco, but is contemplating a move to a nearby city and state where the people could give a fuck less about Burning Man.
